Sunshine On Leith has four nominations for this years Empire Magazine’s Film Awards. As well as being nominated for best British film, Freya Mavor and Antonia Thomas are both up for best female newcomer and George McKay is up best male newcomer.
The awards are decided by an online public vote.

Jacob attends a radio station in Brighton every week which is especially for people with learning difficulties and is run by Jamie Page who helps all the students reach their potential regarding music. Jacob has loved the Proclaimers since the age of 3, and has sung their songs constantly for 26 years.
