A fitting finale saw the crowds turn out for the last weekend of Festival Too.
Popular Scottish duo The Proclaimers brought the 41st festival to a close and were watched by thousands at Lynn’s Tuesday Market Place on Saturday – despite the 10pm clash with the World Cup England v Norway quarter-final kick-off.
The duo posted on social media after their appearance: “It’s a wonderful free festival in a town square all run by dedicated volunteers and a real joy to play.
At the close, the festival committee posted their thanks on social media to “every single one of you who came along, danced, sang and filled King’s Lynn with the energy only this festival can create.
“The power of music and community was truly alive.”
“And to all of you who support Festival Too year after year – you are the reason we carry on doing what we do. Festival Too was unforgettable and now fundraising for 2027 starts.”
