“We’re delighted to be part of the @fruittreefoundation new album, ‘Whole Lotta Roadies’. The project will raise funds and awareness for Scottish touring crew that have been affected by the financial impact of the pandemic. Without them, our shows would not be able to happen.”

A number of Scottish acts are contributing, where the live crews associated with each act go in and record a track, then the vocalists come in and sing. In this case, our fantastic live crew members, Bob Heatlie (keyboards) and Mark Shade (electric guitar) will record a song along with a road crew drummer, then Craig and Charlie will record their vocals. The recordings are pretty much punk rock style, in a studio for a very short session.

The album will be sold on Bandcamp. All proceeds will  be used to create a hardship fund to support members of the Scottish Live Crew industry who are experiencing  financial difficulties due to the Covid Crises.

Accordingly,  we have selected six songs to choose from.
